Coke's New OPEN HAPPINESS Video Leaked

That's right ladies and gentlemen, check it out while you can!

Coke put together this song for their new "Open Happiness" Campaign, and was finally leaked yesterday (February 2nd, 2009) to the public. The song by Brendon Urie (Panic at the Disco), Patrick Stump (Fallout Boy), Travis McCoy (Gym Class Heroes), and Janelle Monae features an interesting amount of Coke branding... Almost none. I think they've done a great job and would love to hear comments and thoughts.

Small Business Marketing Stratagies - Using offline strategies to promote your business online.

Post #1 - Networking in your local market area
Paul Chesher - Media Town Marketing

In my experience one of the best small business marketing strategies to promote your business, and help build a solid foundation of clients, is by networking. Some great and inexpensive ways of networking includes attending meetings of your local sales and ad clubs, joining local chamber of commerce events, volunteering with a not for profit organization utilizing your companies talents in a highly visible position, joining and attending local church (mosque or synagogue) activities, and anything else that allows for face to face interaction with people in your community. Find a couple of large networking groups, such as Business Networking International, that hold weekly meetings and feature businesses at each meeting. Spend the few dollars it takes to feature your business and display examples of your work. This is a great place to put your 30, 60 and 120 second "elevator speech" into action. I have also found that joining groups on Meetup.com, such as The Greater Toronto Small Business Group (I am indeed a member), are a fantastic way to interact with your peers and learn insight into proven ways to promote your business.

Remember: Your URL is the gateway to your online storefront. Make sure it is clear, concise and on ALL of your offline marketing material.

Until next time, keep your business card handy -clients abound!
